Quiwen Li

Ms. Li’s exhibit of digital prints and books, titled “Beyond Screens,” opens Monday October 22, with a reception in the Cecelia Coker Bell Gallery from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served, and the reception is free and open to the public. Her show runs through November 16, 2018.
Qiuwen Li is a Graphic Designer and a Design Professor living and working in Vermillion, South Dakota. Born in China, she received her B.F.A. in Graphic Design from St. Cloud State University (SCSU) and received her MFA in Visual Studies focusing in Graphic Design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Qiuwen Li’s design has been exhibited at the Gallery One OST at Tractorworks Building, Conkling Gallery at Minnesota State University Mankato (MSU), Salmon Gallery at University of Alabama in Huntsville, Casket Arts Building, Kiehle Gallery at SCSU, Whittier Gallery, Concourse Gallery, and Gallery at MCAD. Her freelance design clients include James Dayton Design, Reverie, Medical Marketing Solutions, and Nock Design Group. Qiuwen has been recognized with several awards during her career including Winner of Design and Design International Award (Paris, France), Winner of International Art Design Competition (Beijing, China), Winner of Creative Quarterly in both Fine Art and Graphic Design Category (New York, USA), Winner of STA 100 Competition, The Society of Typographic Arts (Chicago, USA), Winner of Adobe Design Achievement Awards, and Gold ADDY Award recipient in American Advertising Federation.
